Had the opportunity to attend the O’Reilly Velocity conference this week, it’s a conference centered around DevOps… it’s pretty seriously geeky. In the past this conference has served as inspiration to do some really interesting and innovative things in my professional life so I’ve really looked forward to attending this year. My experience this year has been very different than previous years in that my most valuable takeaways are less technical and more reflective/managerial.
It’s a little terrifying to admit that reflection on technology history and strategies for interacting with people to accomplish projects are my take aways. Not sure if this is a reflection of getting older… I’m going to assume it’s just because I know everything tech :-)
If you guys haven’t seen the gaming videos moose has been posting, you should take a gander and watch the last 45 seconds of all the PlayerUnknown’s Battleground clips, it’s hilarious to watch him die.
